Join us this Earth Day for a free community recycle drive.
Bring your paper documents and select electronics for secure, eco-friendly disposal and recycling. It’s a simple way to protect your personal information, reduce waste, and make a positive impact on the planet.
Paper Shredding Guidelines
Shredding is for paper only. For safety reasons, please do not include trash, batteries, combustibles, aerosols, cosmetics, household goods, garments, food, liquids, hazardous materials, media such as tapes, DVDs or X-rays, computer hard drives, plastics, glass, metals, paint, light bulbs, 3-ring binders, or cardboard.
Electronics Recycling (E-Cycling)
E-cycling is the responsible disposal and reuse of electronics to keep harmful materials out of landfills. The following items will be accepted:
Laptops and desktop computers (CPU towers and internal components), flat screen monitors (LCD only), tablets and e-readers, smartphones and cell phones, external hard drives, keyboards and mice, video game consoles, DVD and VCR players, digital cameras and camcorders, MP3 players, printers and scanners, fax machines, routers and modems, network switches and hubs, as well as cables and power cords.
Please note that computer hard drives will not be accepted at this event due to security concerns. For secure hard drive destruction, you can contact UST directly at 904-928-0200.
Extending the spirit of sustainability even further, Waste Not Want Not will also be on site accepting food, clothing, and other usable items from your pantry or closet that might otherwise be thrown away. These gently used items will be diverted from landfills and redistributed to individuals and families in need. New items are not required. This effort is all about reducing waste while helping our community.
Stop by, drop off, and do some good for Earth, one shred, one donation, and one meaningful action at a time.
