Florida’s back-to-school sales tax holiday begins July 29 and runs through August 11th, allowing consumers to buy school supplies, clothing, and footwear without paying state sales tax. For 2024, the tax holiday will cover items such as:
- Clothing, footwear, and certain accessories selling for $100 or less per item.
- School supplies selling for $50 or less per item.
- Personal computers and certain computer-related accessories selling for $1,500 or less, purchased for noncommercial home or personal use.
