Orange Park Mall, Clay County’s premier family-friendly shopping destination, welcomes 2nd & Charles, an entertainment retail concept for book lovers, collectors, gamers, and pop culture enthusiasts, adding another distinctive shopping experience to the center’s growing lineup.
The new store opened on Oct. 15 near Belk, bringing an expansive assortment of new and pre-owned books, music, movies, video games, toys, collectibles, décor, accessories, and other pop culture merchandise to the 21,315-square-foot space in Orange Park Mall. With a focus on discovery and an ever-changing selection, the store encourages shoppers to browse favorite genres, revisit beloved classics, and encounter unexpected finds.
2nd & Charles also features a buy, sell, and trade concept that gives customers the opportunity to bring in eligible merchandise in exchange for cash or store credit. This model helps create a continually evolving inventory, giving shoppers fresh reasons to return and discover something new with each visit.

To celebrate the store’s arrival, 2nd & Charles will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Clay County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, Oct. 30. The festivities will continue Saturday, Oct. 31, with a Halloween-themed grand opening celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families are invited to explore the new store and enjoy a festive afternoon featuring a face painter and balloon artist bringing book characters to life, along with free cookies and tote bags while supplies last. The community celebration will also offer special opportunities for 2nd & Charles Rewards members, including a chance to win one of five $50 gift cards or one $100 gift card.
